Rayo Vallecano midfielder Michu admits he is flattered by the reported interest from Manchester United and Porto.
The attacking midfielder has attracted a lot of attention with his showings in La Liga and has seen his name linked with some of the biggest European clubs.
Manchester United and Porto are thought to be leading the race for the player’s signature, but few other sides are keen as well.
The 26-year-old is aware of the transfer rumours and admits he is proud to be linked to such great clubs.
“It’s good to see my name associated with Porto and Manchester United,” Michu told Radio Renaissance.
“I’ve always appreciated Porto but I cannot speak about interest because I do not know if it’s true.”
Miguel Perez Cuesta made a name for himself playing for Celta Vigo in Spanish second division, but it was the move to Rayo Vallecano in the summer that helped the player kick-start his career.
After scoring 13 league goals in last two seasons for Celta, Michu has scored the same amount in just 29 La Liga games for Rayo Vallecano this term.
