Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has confirmed that he’s happy at the club, after a lot of speculation over his future. Recent reports seemed to indicate that the Frenchman was interested in the idea of quitting the Gunners, in favour of a move away from the Premier League. Alas, it seems as if that was never the case, with Lacazette claiming that he has no idea where those rumours came from and that every day he wants to work hard and prove that he can earn his place in the starting XI.
At the age of 27, Lacazette still has plenty of time to grow in this game, and it seems as if he’s best suited to remain at the Emirates where he can continue to link up with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Lacazette returned to scoring ways at the weekend when he netted the winner for Arsenal as they defeated Cardiff 3-2 in a tense game.
