Lacazette to quit Arsenal?

Reports in France are suggesting Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette could quit the club later this week. The Frenchman has been on the bench for all three of the Gunners’ Premier League games thus far this season, with Lacazette wanting to force through a deal elsewhere prior to the close of the European transfer window.

Several of the major leagues won’t stop bringing in players until Friday, meaning that there’s a chance this could come to fruition if the reports are serious. Lacazette certainly seemed to struggle at points last season, with many fans noting that he is the weaker member of his partnership with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The last few months have certainly served as a transition period for Arsenal after Unai Emery took charge, but losing Lacazette would likely be seen as a huge blow as the Gunners try and force their way back into a place in the top four.
