Kyle Lafferty is keen to stay and fight for his place at Norwich City, according to the Guardian.
The twenty-seven year old is yet to feature for the Canaries this season and has been linked with a loan move away, but he has no intention of dropping down the divisions.
Despite not playing at club level, the Northern Ireland international scored in both of his countries recent internationals – Friday’s 3-1 win against the Faroe Islands and the 1-1 draw with Hungary three days later.
He now has sixteen goals in forty-five international appearances, a tally which sees only David Healy ahead of him in the nation’s all-time scoring list.
Lafferty moved to Carrow Road from Palermo last summer, and he scored just once in twenty appearances before being loaned out to Turkish side Caykur Rizespor.
Norwich host Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon, and the home win can be backed at a price of 13/10.
