Lage on the verge of Wolves departure

According to a recent report from The Telegraph, Bruno Lage is fighting to save his job as Wolverhampton Wanderers manager.

After being backed heavily in the summer transfer market, Bruno Lage hasn’t really been able to get the results that Wolves fans desire so far this season with just one win in the Premier League thus far. He was a popular man in charge last year but this time around, it hasn’t quite worked out in the manner he may have liked.

Wolves fans seem to have a shorter leash for him in comparison to what Nuno Espirito Santo got, despite Nuno’s poor run – and style of football – being what held the club back for quite some time.

Alas, the report indicates that Lage is indeed on his last legs, and he may well be gone by the time we reach Monday morning, which feels like the right decision for all involved.
