Lallana coy on exit talk

Southampton F.C. midfielder Adam Lallana has refused to rule out a summer move away from St Mary's amid reports linking Liverpool and Manchester United with the England international.

Southampton F.C. midfielder Adam Lallana has refused to rule out a summer move away from St Mary’s amid reports linking Liverpool and Manchester United with the England international.

The Saints’ captain, who has bagged nine goals and six assists in 36 English Premier League appearances in 2013/14, has been on stunning form for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season.

Lallana’s eye-catching displays at the start of the campaign earned him an England call-up on 7 November 2013 and he is now believed to be a ‘shoe in’ for the Three Lions’ World Cup squad.

Furthermore, the England international, 25, is now being monitored by several  top English clubs, including the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City but Liverpool and Manchester United are backed by the bookmakers at 6/4 and 7/2, respectively, to sign the 25-year-old ace in the summer.

Although Southampton executive director Les Reed has insisted the club will not be forced to sell their star players this summer, Lallana’s name continues to dominate transfer headlines.

“I just want to enjoy my football,” Lallana told BT Sport. “That’s when I’m at my happiest, when I’m playing well.

“Playing in a great, youthful team like this I feel like one of the experienced players nowadays.

“I just want to concentrate on the last two games of the season and we’ll sit down in the summer and see what happens.”

In other news, Southampton left-back Luke Shaw is being linked with a sensational £30 million move to Manchester United, who are priced at 4/9 to sign the highly-rated defender before next season.

Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac has offer from Man Utd

FC Schalke 04 left-back Sead Kolasinac has revealed he has an offer to join Manchester United in the summer.

United are in the market for a left-back, with Patrice Evra out of a contract at the end of the season and Alexander Büttner deemed not worthy of a starting-place at Old Trafford.

Evra has been linked with a return to former club AS Monaco FC and United have lined up a short list of potential replacements for the Frenchman, including Everton star Leighton Baines and the aforementioned Luke Shaw.

You can now add Schalke youngster Sead Kolasinac to that list.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international, 20, has established himself as a first-team regular at the Veltins-Arena this term, having made 22 Bundesliga appearances for the Royal Blues.

“Yes, I have offer from Manchester United,” Kolasinac told Bosnian newspaper Dnevni Avaz, per The Mirror.

“But, I will not hurry with the decision [over my future]. I have to see what Schalke think about it.”

Who should United sign as the long-term replacement for Patrice Evra?
