According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Adam Lallana is taking part in a medical with Brighton & Hove Albion today ahead of a move from Premier League champions Liverpool.
The two clubs have been in talks over the move in recent days as the former England international nears the end of his contract at Anfield.
The deal is set to be three years long, and while some have questioned whether or not that’s a smart idea considering Lallana is now 32 years of age, the man himself seems to be more motivated than he has been in quite some time.
Lallana has been on the edge of the Reds’ starting XI throughout the course of the campaign, and now, he’s ready to return to Merseyside with a rival team in order to prove that he’s still capable of performing at the Premier League level.
Now, it’s just a case of getting the deal over the finish line.
