Erik Lamela is hoping to become the latest Tottenham Hotspur player to pen a new contract, according to the Mail Online.
A number of Spurs’ squad have committed their future to the North London club in recent months and Lamela is hoping to follow suit.
Eric Dier, Danny Rose, Kyle Walker, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli have already put pen to paper and all have played their part as Mauricio Pochettino’s men have enjoyed an unbeaten start to their Premier League campaign.
Lamela moved to White Hart Lane from Roma in the summer of 2013 and has since racked up one hundred and twenty-one appearances in all competitions, scoring nineteen goals while he has netted three times across twenty-three caps for Argentina.
Tottenham, who currently sit one point behind Premier League leaders Manchester City will hope to continue their unbeaten run as they host champions Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
