Lamela and Lloris set to stay at Spurs

New Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to keep hold of Erik Lamela and Hugo Lloris, according to the Mail Online.

Argentina international forward Lamela had been linked with a return to Italy after a disappointing first season in England, where he made just seventeen appearances in all competitions, scoring his only goal in 2-1 home win over Sheriff in the Europa League.

France number one Lloris faired far better, playing in all but one of the clubs league games, producing a number of eye-catching performances which drew interest in him from French champions Paris Saint Germain and Serie A runners-up Roma.

However, Pochettino is keen to utilise both players next season, as he attempts to guide the North London club to the top four for the first time in three years.

Spurs can be backed at a price of 10/3 to end the 2014/15 campaign with qualification for the Champions League.
