Tottenham Hotspur forward Erik Lamela is keen to double his wages as he seeks a new deal at White Hart Lane, according to the Mirror.
A number of manager Maurcio Pochettino’s first team squad, including Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen have penned new contracts recently and Lamela is set to follow suit though he wants north of £100k per week.
Despite suffering a slow start to his Spurs career the twenty-four year old has won over both his manager and the North London club’s supporters.
He netted in the opening day draw with Everton and has featured in the three league games since, starting two of those matches.
In total the Argentina international has made one hundred and eleven club appearances since signing from Roma, scoring eighteen goals.
He has been capped twenty-two times for his country, with two of his three international goals so far coming at this summers Copa America.
