Lampard not planning much January drama

“If there are changes to be made in January, they will be things that specifically makes us better. In some areas, I think we are good. There may be a couple of areas we want to look at, but at the same time I am very happy with what I have got”.

Those are the words of Derby County manager and former England international Frank Lampard as we gear up for the January transfer window.

Lampard has been able to guide the Rams towards a potential playoff run so far this season, but as we all know, anything can happen in the Championship and there’s still a long way left to go.

Derby are in good shape and have one of the best squads in the division, but we’ve seen them crumble before. In fact, they’re well known for being a team that slip up when it looks like they’re in the prime position to go up – which leads us to wonder whether or not he’ll air on the side of caution and bring in a few reinforcements.
