(GSM) – Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard could miss three matches due to his hernia injury. The key midfielder is sure to miss tomorrow’s clash with Manchester City but might also miss the cracker against Arsenal as well as the Champions League match against Olympique Marseille.

The England international has been sidelined since August 31 and Chelsea’s medical staff predicted him to be back for the match at the Eastlands. However, he’s now in danger of missing next week’s matches against Marseille (Tuesday) and Arsenal (Sunday).

England’s Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro, which is scheduled for October 12, might also come too soon for Lampard.
