Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has ended speculation about his future by saying that he is going nowhere this summer, reports the Daily Mail.
It had been suggested that Lampard was wanted by MLS club LA Galaxy, a move he was reportedly interested in after spending some time in America with David Beckham.
However, with one year to run on his deal at Stamford Bridge, Lampard has insisted that he will remain at the Champion League winners.
The England man said that he was ‘really looking forward to getting back to Chelsea’ for pre-season after his holiday in LA comes to an end.
Lampard – who missed Euro 2012 through injury – also mentioned that he was back to full fitness and is raring to go under new full-time Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo.
In other Chelsea transfer news, it has been reported by Yahoo this evening that Chelsea have had an offer for Bayer Leverkusen forward Andre Schurrle rejected.
The 21-year-old is very highly thought of in Germany of course and Chelsea are keen to add a striker to their ranks after losing Didier Drogba.
It is thought they will have to work extremely hard to get their man on this occasion though, so we will have to wait and see.
