According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Frank Lampard is back in contention for the vacant managerial position at Crystal Palace.
For a while it seemed as if Lampard was the primary contender in the race to become the new boss at Selhurst Park but in the last few days, Nuno Espirito Santo has seemingly been pinpointed as the main man. Alas, while he may be in talks with the Eagles, it doesn’t seem as if they’ve been able to get a deal over the finish line just yet – leaving the door open for Lampard to swoop in.
The former Chelsea and Derby manager has enjoyed moments of success during his young managerial career but if he can get back in the Premier League game with Palace, there’s no way of getting around the insane pressure that would be placed onto his shoulders.
Still, we think he’d be up for the challenge – and so would the fanbase.
