Barcelona president Joan Laporta has called Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho a “second-rate psychologist” shortly before their two sides meet in Wednesday’s crunch Champions League semi-final.

Mourinho said Tuesday that Barca were “obsessed” with winning their second consecutive Champions League title at arch rival Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu stadium on May 22.

“We are not obsessive, and any second-rate psychologist can say whatever they want,” Laporta told reporters when asked about Mourinho’s comments before having luch with inter Milan president Massimo Moratti.

“It is a hope and an objective that we have. To pass this round, reach the final and win it is a hope that we have, yes,” he added.

“We have a very big challenge, to reach the final and win the title. It is a sporting challenge and whoever tries to talk about other issues is mistaken and I suppose it is done to provoke.”

The Italian side came out on top in the first-leg of the semi-final clash but Barcelona are convinced that they can overturn the 3-1 score line at the Nou Camp.

On the home front Barcelona lead the Spanish league by one point from Real.
