Heerenveen winger Sam Larsson has caught the eye of several top European sides, De Telegraaf has revealed.
The Swedish youngster joined the Frisians in the summer of 2014 and he enjoyed a brilliant start to his career in the Netherlands.
Larsson managed 10 goals and 8 assists in 39 competitive appearances for the club and his impressive displays clearly did not go unnoticed.
De Telegraaf has learned that the likes of Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and Borussia Dortmund have all been keeping close tabs on the 22-year-old footballer.
But, considering that Heerenveen value their prized asset at €6m to €7m, Larsson will probably prove too expensive for the two Eredivisie giants.
Sam Larsson is currently a member of Sweden’s Under-21 side, but it shouldn’t be long before he is handed a senior call-up.
And if Blagult pip neighbours Denmark to a place at the Euro 2016 finals, the winger may even get a chance to earn a place in the national team for the showpiece tournament.
