Having failed to break into the Real Madrdi first team under Zinedine Zidane, Los Blancos youngster Mariano Diaz is widely expected to leave the Santiago Bernabeu outfit in January.
Dominican Republic international made only one appearance this season for Real Madrid as he was given a rare start in the Copa del Rey at Cultural Leonesa last week.
The 23-year-old scored a goal in Real Madrid’s 7-1 thumping of the minnows, but he is yet to register a minute of competitive action in La Liga.
Believed to be frustrated over the lack of playing time, Mariano is looking for a way out and Mundo Deportivo are suggesting that Las Palmas are one of the clubs who have already expressed interest to take on the Real Madrid forward once the transfer window reopens in January.
Sevilla are also believed to be keen on the Dominican Republic international who top scored for Real Madrid’s B team last term and went on to impress while playing for the first team on the North American tour.
