Lassana Diarra nears PSG switch

Paris Saint-Germain are putting finishing touches on the deal to sign free agent Lassana Diarra, according to L’Equipe.

The experienced midfielder, or more precisely his agents, have been speaking with the Saints ever since he had his contract with Al Jazira canceled on Christmas Eve.

There have been no major obstacles that would see the transfer fall through, but rather numerous clauses took time to be drafted, and everything is going according to plan.

PSG head coach Unai Emery has given the all clear to sign Diarra and chances are the deal will be completed in the coming days.

Lassana Diarra has been training on his own to ensure he is ready to join his new teammates, and he is expected to slot straight into the squad once the transfer is finalised.
