Lassana Diarra set to join PSG

SFR Sport is reporting that free agent Lassana Diarra has all but agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain with immediate effect.

The 32-year-old managed to rescind his contract with Al Jazira a week ago, and latest reports suggest he has found an agreement with the Ligue 1 leaders.

PSG were keen to reinforce the middle of the park ahead of the second part of the season and they are now set to finalise the deal for their long-term target.

Lassana Diarra was on the verge of joining the Saints from Marseille last summer, but l’OM chiefs prevented him from moving to Parc des Princes.

However, following a disappointing spell with Al Jazira, the experienced footballer will eventually join PSG on a free transfer.
