French daily newspaper L’Equipe understands that Marseille midfielder Lassana Diarra has set his sights on joining Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.
The experienced footballer will have no shortage of offers after enjoying a thoroughly impressive season with OM, and he admitted few days ago that a summer exit was on the cards.
And while clubs from English Premier League are also after his signature, Diarra appears to prefer a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Saints are desperate to recruit the 30-year-old as a replacement for Thiago Motta and the latest reports suggest they will succeed in their quest.
Diarra has made a total of 25 league appearances this season, while also returning to the France national team and he has a good chance of starting the opening Euro 2016 fixture against Romania.
PSG will have another opportunity to take a closer look at their target when arch rivals PSG and Marseille meet in the Coupe de France final, where the Saints are 1/3 favourites to win in ninety minutes.
