The representatives of Lautaro Martinez are currently in talks with Inter Milan over the future of their client, according to Sport.
The Argentinian striker is in much demand these days, with his quality one of the many reasons why the Nerazzurri currently top the Serie A table. Barcelona have been the club mentioned the most as they seek a permanent successor for Luis Suarez, but the names of Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have all been mentioned as well.
However, Inter are working hard to return to the paths of old glory and contend for all the major trophies once more, and to that end, they are keen on making sure that Lautaro stays put for the foreseeable future. The negotiations are still ongoing, and there appear to be a few obstacles to overcome. The club want to raise his buyout clause from €111 million to €200m, while the player and his representatives want it to remain unchanged. The player and his representatives want his €2m-per-year wages doubled, but the club are reluctant to go that high.
