Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has learned that Milan are planning an ambitious swoop for PSG star Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The Rossoneri have done well to rebuild the squad following the major summer clearout, and they are keen to further reinforce their ranks ahead of the 2013/2014 season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have made Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi their number one target in the summer transfer window.
The problem is the Argentine is unlikely to come on the cheap having joined PSG in a €26 million deal last summer, but the Rossoneri are not prepared to give up on the former Napoli star.
Lavezzi, 27, hasn’t had such a good start to his career in France and he has recently hinted that he would be interested in a return to Serie A.
Ezequiel Lavezzi has scored just 3 goals in 23 Ligue 1 matches this season, although he did bag 5 goals in 9 Champions League appearances.
