La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Lazio have had an offer accepted for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini.
The Biancocelesti plan to reinforce the front line this summer and the former AS Roma forward appears to be high on their wish list.
Lazio have even agreed a season-long loan worth €1 million, with an obligatory buy-out clause set at €7 million with Liverpool, but they have yet to strike personal terms with the player.
The problem is that Borini is not too keen on returning to Italian Serie A, seeing as he is perfectly happy with his life in England.
His other suitors West Ham appear to have a better chance of winning the chase for the player’s signature, but Lazio sporting director Igli Tare is prepared to go the extra mile to lure the forward to Stadio Olimpico.
Fabio Borini, 24, scored 9 goals in 24 league appearances for AS Roma, and it remains to be seen whether he will be moving across the capital to join arch rivals Lazio.
