Serie A outfit Lazio have confirmed they plan to sign one of Alessio Cerci and Nabil Dirar as a replacement for Antonio Candreva.
The Biancocelesti recently sold the Italy hotshot to Inter Milan, and they are determined to sign him a proper replacement before the end of the summer transfer window.
Speaking after the 4-3 triumph over Atalanta on the opening day of the season, Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi moved to confirm that Alessio Cerci and Nabil Dirar have been chosen as potential reinforcements.
“Cerci or Dirar as a replacement for Candreva? Surely, one of them will join, the club is working well,” Inzaghi told Mediaset Premium.
Alessio Cerci already has plenty of Serie A experience, having represented Roma, Atalanta, FIorentina, Torino, AC Milan and Genoa, and his long-term future at Atletico Madrid is in doubt.
Meanwhile, Nabil Dirar has continued with impressive showings at Monaco after joining from Club Brugge and he has 11 goals and 29 assists in 138 competitive outings for the Principality club.
