Lazio full-back Stefan Radu is followed by three English Premier League clubs, his representative has revealed.
The Romanian left-back, who can also play in the heart of defence, is constantly linked with a summer exit from Olimpico following yet another impressive campaign for the Biancocelesti.
Several injuries prevented the player from showing all he’s got this season, but that didn’t stop top European clubs from showing interest in his services.
His representative now claims that England is the most likely destination for his client, who is tracked by three Premier League clubs.
“We are working with someone in England, there are three clubs that are very interested in Stefan,” Viktor Becali told reporters in front of his home.
“If we were to receive a good deal and Lazio were to accept, then he could leave. Otherwise, he is happy in Rome and does have a contract until 2016.”
Lazio signed the 25-year-old on the cheap, having paid just €1 million for his arrival from Dinamo Bucharest, and Radu quickly developed into a key player for the Biancocelesti.
The Romanian international has featured in over 100 Serie A games for Lazio, but he has yet to score a league goal for the Olimpico outfit.
