Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Lazio are hot on the trail of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva.
The Biancocelesti plan to add another quality midfielder to their ranks and they have already missed out on Jordy Clasie, while their bid for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic appears to have fallen through as well.
Hence, Lazio have reignited their interest in long-term target Adrien Silva, who has enjoyed another impressive campaign with the Lions.
The 26-year-old is another quality product of Sporting’s famed youth academy and he has long ago become a key member of the squad at Estadio Jose Alvalade.
Silva has managed 23 goals and 8 assists in 155 competitive outings for the Lions, and has seen his stock rise a great deal over the last couple of years.
The central midfielder has been capped four times by Portugal, making one substitute appearance for the Selecao in the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.
