Serie A high-flyers Lazio are weighing up January move for FC Porto defender Diego Reyes, according to A Bola.
The Biancocelesti are almost certain to stay without key stopper Stefan de Vrij, and they want the Mexican to replace him at Stadio Olimpico.
The only problem is that Reyes does not hold an EU passport, meaning that Lazio will probably first have to sell a non-EU player before making a move on the 25-year-old.
The interesting thing is that the Mexican never quite managed to prove his worth at Estadio do Dragao, but instead impressed during loan spells with Real Sociedad and Espanyol.
FC Porto will probably use the heavy interest in Diego Reyes to try and maximise their investment in the player, with Lazio apparently leading the chase at the moment.
