Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Lazio are keeping close tabs on Croatian midfielder Milan Badelj.
The Biancocelesti are looking to add another central midfielder to their ranks and sporting director Igli Tare is a big fan of the Fiorentina hotshot.
Badelj is almost certain to leave in January as his contract is due to expire in June, and his long-term suitors AC Milan appear to have cooled interest in his services.
This means that Lazio could get their target for a bargain price, provided they persuade the Croatian to move to Stadio Olimpico.
Milan Badelj is looking for a new challenge after spending last three and a half years at Artemio Franchi, during which he made 91 Serie A appearances and scored 5 goals.
