Lazio are hot on the trail of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Moritz Leitner, Italian daily newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The Biancocelesti are in need of midfielder reinforcements now that Antonio Candreva has joined Inter Milan and Ogenyi Onazi nears summer exit as well.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims that Lazio are set to make a move on Borussia Dortmund midfielder Moritz Leitner, who is keen on moving to Stadio Olimpico.
The 23-year-old only started 2 Bundesliga fixtures last season and he wants to leave Signal-Iduna Park in search of first team football.
Leitner had began his professional career at 1860 Munich, while he also enjoyed loan spells with Augsburg and Stuttgart.
The central midfielder, who scored 7 goals in 24 appearances for Germany Under-21 side, showed a great deal of potential during the 2012/2013 campaign, making a total of 25 Bundesliga appearances for the Millionaires.
