Rennes forward Paul-Georges Ntep Madiba has emerged as a top target for Italian giants Lazio, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The Biancocelesti have yet to sign a replacement for Antonio Candreva and they believe the Cameroon winger would be a very good option.
Ntep can operate on either wing and he has a knack for scoring goals, just like the Italy international he could succeed at Stadio Olimpico.
Despite the fact that the 24-year-old has one year left on his current contract, Rennes want €13 million for his services, and that has something to do with the player saying that he would never leave les Bretons on a free transfer, but would ensure they received a transfer fee.
Meanwhile, Lazio plan to start the bidding at €6 million, but it is clear that the offer will have to be increased if they are to stand any chance of landing their target.
