Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Lazio are considering a January bid for Saint Etienne captain Loic Perrin.
The Biancocelesti are in desperate need of defensive reinforcements following the difficult injury to star player Stefan de Vrij, and they have been linked with quite a few quality footballers of late.
And with Nicolas N’Koulou proving too expensive despite the fact that his contract expires in June, Lazio appear to have turned their attention towards Loic Perrin.
Having been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, the experienced defender has made it clear he is ready to leave for greener pastures, but it remains to be seen whether the two clubs can agree on the transfer fee.
The 30-year-old has spent his entire career up to date at Saint Etienne, making a total of 273 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring 22 goals.
Perrin will have a perfect opportunity to impress his suitors when the two sides square off in Europa League on Thursday evening, with St Etienne having been made 13/10 favourites to claim maximum points.
