(GSM) – Lazio are a step closer to signing striker Robert Acquafresca after agreeing terms with the player’s current club, Genoa.
Genoa president Enrico Preziosi told the Corriere dello Sport that his club reached an agreement with Lazio and allows Acquafresca to travel to Rome to discuss his future.
Acquafresca joined Genoa from Cagliari last season but despite costing the club 16 million Euros, he was soon loaned out to Atalanta.
After the arrival of Luca Toni to Genoa, it was expected that the club would try to find a new employer for the 22 year old striker.
