Lazio go after Dendoncker?

According to a recent report from Il Tempo, Lazio could be interested in trying to sign Wolves midfielder Leander Dendoncker.

The belief is that with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic reportedly being on his way out of the club during the summer transfer window, Lazio need to move quickly if they want to get someone in and settled before the new campaign begins.

There are plenty of great midfield contenders out there for them to consider but above them all, in their mind, Dendoncker is someone who stands out among the pack.

While he’s been a loyal servant of Wolverhampton Wanderers since arriving at the club, though, he isn’t particularly revered within the fanbase.

He’s viewed as someone who is a solid enough option and can assist Moutinho and Neves in a central midfield three, but anything beyond that tends to be too much for him.

With the intensity of Italian football not being on quite the same level, he may have a bit more joy.
