Lazio have submitted a new proposal for Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Biancocelesti have been confirmed as the only serious contenders for the player’s signature, but it remains to be seen if they can reach an agreement with the Turkish giants before the transfer window closes.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Lazio have submitted a new offer of €13 million plus Sergio Floccari and Mickael Ciani.
The problem is Galatasaray want €15 million cash, but the fact Fatih Terim needs the money for an assault on Sporting Lisbon winger Armindo Bruma could see Cimbom accept the latest proposal.
Lazio officials are hoping the arrival of Burak Yilmaz would add a new dimension to team’s attack, with the player’s impressive goalscoring record giving them reason for optimism.
While scoring 8 Champions League goals last term, the 28-year-old also bagged 24 goals in 30 Turkish Super Lig matches.
