Serie A outfit Lazio are weighing up summer bid for Konyaspor striker Samuel Eto’o, Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed.
The Biancocelesti are in the market for attacking reinforcements having narrowly missed out on Champions League qualification and they seem to be considering a move for the veteran forward.
Reports from Italy suggest that Eto’o spent some four hours speaking to Lazio sporting director Igli Tare in Rome yesterday, which may suggest a move to Stadio Olimpico could be on the horizon.
The Biancocelesti would also need to agree a transfer fee with Konyaspor as the 37-year-old has another year left on his contract.
The former Inter Milan striker has fared pretty well in Turkey, scoring 44 goals in 76 league appearances for Antalyaspor before netting 6 times in 13 outings for his current employers.
