Lazio in talks with Llorente

Fernando Llorente could be going back to Italy! Former Juventus striker is a free agent, following the expiration of his contract with Tottenham Hotspur and is looking at his possibilities this summer. After rumours that Napoli are interested in him, now Italian media are reporting that Lazio are in talks with the Spanish veteran.

Corriere dello Sport are claiming that Lazio have already offered Llorente a three-year deal, as they want to beat the rush and sign him before Napoli or even AS Roma snap him up. Lazio are reportedly confident of signing him, but with two more Serie A clubs interested in him, it is still a question who will come out on top.

Despite being 34 years old, Llorente still has plenty of suitors in biggest European leagues. His strong finish to the last season, where he was crucial for Spurs in beating Ajax in Champions League semifinal, obviously has made an impact.
