According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Lazio are interested in trying to sign Lyon star Memphis Depay during the summer transfer window. Ever since he left Manchester United a few years back, Depay seems to have completely reinvented his career – to the point where many view him as a top talent once again.
He’s been placed onto an alleged shortlist by Lazio, who currently sit top of the Serie A table, when it comes to players they want to pursue in the coming months. The three-player list also features Real Madrid defender Nacho and Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud as Lazio attempt to expand their horizons and bring in a few players of real note.
Lazio’s league campaign has burst into life across the last few months, and while there’s some uncertainty regarding whether or not they’ll be able to finish out the season due to the coronavirus, the general hope is that they can finish strong and start attracting high profile names to the club.
