Italian high-flyers Lazio are weighing up summer swoop for Marseille hotshot Andre-Pierre Gignac, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The Biancocelesti have already secured the signature of Ravel Morrison and Wesley Hoedt, with Barcelona defender Patric also expected to arrive on a free transfer.
And while signing a new centre forward is not a priority for Lazio, much will depend on the situation regarding Miroslav Klose.
In case the veteran striker decides to leave, the Biancocelesti could make a move on soon-to-be free agent Andre-Piere Gignac.
But, while the Frenchman is hoping to get a contract worth €4 million per campaign, Lazio are unlikely to offer him more than €2 million per season.
Gignac has been linked with quite a few top sides of late, but his high wage demands have put off a number of top clubs, and the striker might have to lower his expectations if he wants to join a top side this summer.
