Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Lazio are showing interest in Juventus starlet Manolo Gabbiadini.
The Biancocelesti are currently in talks with their Serie A rivals over Senad Lulic’s proposed move to Turin, with one or two Juventus fringe players expected to move in the opposite direction.
And while Sebastian Giovinco, Angelo Ogbonna, Fabio Quagliarella and Mauricio Isla have been mentioned as potential reinforcements for the Biancocelesti, it appears the Stadio Olimpico outfit are also eyeing Manolo Gabbiadini.
Lazio officials have been impressed with the forward’s performances at Sampdoria and they hope to purchase Juventus’ part of the co-ownership agreement with the Bluecerchiati.
Manolo Gabbiadini is expected to return to Turin following a very successful season at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, but everything suggests he will be used as a bargaining chip this summer rather than being given a real opportunity to impress Antonio Conte and his staff ahead of the new season.
