Italian giants Lazio are keeping close tabs on Nordsjaelland striker Marcus Ingvartsen, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
It is no secret that the Biancocelesti are in the market for a new centre forward and they have been looking at quite a few footballers.
The latest striker to catch their eye is Danish starlet Marcus Ingvartsen, who is coming off a thoroughly impressive campaign.
After showing plenty of potential since coming through the youth ranks, the 21-year-old finished the previous league campaign as top goalscorer with 23 strikes in 35 appearances.
He then represented his country at the Under-21 European Championship in Poland, netting once in three outings.
It is believed that Ingvartsen can be acquired for as little as €5 million, but Lazio are expected to face competition for his signature.
