Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Lazio are keeping close tabs on KAA Gent defender Samuel Gigot.
The Bianconeri have plans to add a new central defender to their ranks considering that Stefan de Vrij is almost certain to leave at the end of the season.
And latest reports suggest that KAA Gent stopper Samuel Gigot is one of the players on their radar.
Lazio sporting director Igli Tare first spotted the 24-year-old when he was scouting Montenegrin full-back Adam Marusic, as the two players were teammates at Kortrijk.
And while Marusic has since arrived at Stadio Olimpico, the Frenchman was sold to Gent, where he has impressed in first 18 months.
Currently valued at €4 million, Gigot will be under a watchful eye of Lazio scouts in the coming months, while the Bianconeri could step up their interest in the summer.
