Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested that Lazio are showing interest in Serie A strikers Gonzalo Bergessio and Giampaolo Pazzini.
The Biancocelesti were rocked by injury to first choice centre forward Filip Djordjevic, who is set for a three-month spell on the sidelines.
As a result, youngster Mamadou Tounkara has been promoted from the youth side, whilst Bryan Perea will be recalled from loan at Perugia.
Nevertheless, Lazio officials are considering the possibility of recruiting an experienced striker, with Gonzalo Bergessio their primary target.
The Argentine could join the Biancocelesti on loan as he is unlikely to get too much first team football at Sampdoria following the arrival of Samuel Eto’o and Luis Muriel.
At the same time, Lazio are looking at AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini and Atalanta’s German Denis, and everything suggests one of the three players will be moving to Stadio Olimpico before the transfer window closes.
