Italian newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport has learned that Lazio have no plans to cash in on star striker Miroslav Klose in the January window.
The veteran forward has entered the final year of his deal at Stadio Olimpico and he has all but confirmed that he will not be signing a contract extension.
However, even with several clubs ready to try and sign Klose in January, Lazio president Claudio Lotito has no intention to sell.
This means that the 35-year-old will be leaving the club on a free transfer in the summer, with MLS and German Bundesliga his most likely destinations.
Klose is likely to make a decision on his future after the 2014 World Cup, where he is set to represent Germany at what should be his final major tournament.
The highly rated forward has earned a total of 130 Germany caps and scored 68 goals for the national team.
