According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Lazio will offer Olivier Giroud a three-year deal that will be worth around €3.5 million per season during the summer transfer window.
The Chelsea forward has been in and out of the first team over the course of the last few weeks, but at this stage, it doesn’t appear as if he’s going to be cementing his spot as a regular in the Blues’ starting XI any time soon. The Frenchman has certainly made a notable impact during his time in the Premier League with Chelsea and Arsenal, but even with that being the case, there is a real sense that his future lies elsewhere around European football.
With Lazio looking set to make a real push for the Serie A title, if the season is able to go ahead, it would definitely appear to be an appealing offer for Giroud to accept.
