West Ham forward Enner Valencia is nearing a summer move to Lazio, Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting.
The two clubs have been negotiating a deal over the last couple of weeks and they are very close to reaching an agreement.
Namely, while West Ham are holding out for €13 million, Lazio are ready to pay €2 million for a season-long loan, while an obligatory buy-out clause would be set to €10 million.
There is a good chance the Hammers will accept the latest offer during the day, with Valencia expected to fly to Rome to undergo a medical and sign a contract.
The 26-year-old will be vying Filip Djordjevic for a starting berth at Stadio Olimpico, as he leaves West Ham after just two years.
Valencia could only manage 8 goals in 51 Premier League fixtures, although numerous injury problems clearly prevented the striker from giving his best in England.
