According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Lazio are showing a keen interest in trying to sign Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic.
Grujic is currently out on loan with Hertha Berlin, but the hope from Lazio is that they can snap him up before he even entertains the idea of heading back to Anfield.
The 24-year-old hasn’t quite been able to make the kind of impact he would’ve hoped for with the Reds, and at this stage in his career, it makes a lot more sense for him to look for first team opportunities elsewhere.
In Lazio, he’ll be heading to a club that is on the rise within the context of Italian football.
Right now they’re just one point behind Juventus in the Serie A title race, and if they’re able to add to their already exciting squad with some depth, they’ll continue to be viewed as serious contenders.
