Serie A outfit Lazio are seriously weighing up a summer move on Sevilla striker Ciro Immobile, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The Biancocelesti need to sign a replacement for Miroslav Klose and have so far been linked with Gianluca Lapadula and Leonardo Pavoletti.
However, it would appear as though they are also keen on Sevilla’s Ciro Immobile, who should be on the move this summer.
Torino have the option to purchase his contract after a successful loan spell, but are unlikely to do so as they want to give Italy Under-21 international Andrea Belotti a chance to shine.
As a result, Lazio have a good chance of securing Immobile’s signature, especially seeing that the striker’s price has dropped from €15m to mere €9m.
The 26-year-old successfully kick-started his career during the loan stint with Torino, making 14 Serie A appearances and scoring 6 goals for Granata.
