Lazio have announced the signing of attacking midfielder Davide Di Gennaro from Cagliari via their official Twitter account.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed as the 29-year-old gets another chance to try and impress at the highest level.
Di Gennaro spent some time with AC Milan and Genoa in the past, but he had only managed 36 Serie A appearances before helping Cagliari return to the elite division.
The midfielder then enjoyed a stellar season as he produced 2 goals and 5 assists in 20 top flight outings, which proved enough to secure a lucrative move to Lazio.
Capable of operating as a central midfielder or on the left flank, Di Gennaro could prove a useful option for the Biancocelesti next term.
