Lazio forward Balde Diao Keita will not be leaving Stadio Olimpico for less than €15 million, according to the player’s agent.
The 19-year-old arrived at the club from Barcelona for mere €300,000 back in 2011, but his price has since increased a great deal.
The youngster has shownplenty of potential this season and he has already scored 4 Serie A goals for the Bianconcelesti.
This has seen him catch the eye of Manchester City and Liverpool, but interested sides have been told they will have to delve deep into their pockets if they plan to sign the Senegalese forward.
“If he was to leave Lazio, we will never find a club in Italy that will buy him, assuming the important figures that Claudio Lotito would ask for,” agent Ulisse Savini told Radiosei.
“How much is he worth? If a say a price Lotito will contradict me. But at present, according to my judgement, he cannot be worth less than €15million.
“I think Keita would be fine with a future in English football. I think that it is much better there than in Germany, for example.”
Keita has a contract until June 2017 at Stadio Olimpico and chances are Lazio will not be looking to sell any time soon.
The forward has featured in 16 league matches this season, starting 6 of those games, and managed to score 4 goals in the process.
