Serie A outfit Lazio are considering a move for Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez, according to Tuttosport.
The Biancocelesti have chosen the Spanish attacker as their number one target to replace Antonio Candreva, who was sold to league rivals Inter Milan.
Lazio are expected to soon come forward with an official proposal, but, as things stand now, their chances of landing the Spain international are not that great.
Namely, after selling Jese Rodriguez to Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is unlikely to let Vazquez leave, while the winger himself is happy to stay and fight for his place at Santiago Bernabeu.
Lucas Vazquez has shown a great deal of potential after he returned to the club from Espanyol, but he could only manage 4 goals in 33 competitive appearances.
The 25-year-old, nonetheless, was included in Spain’s Euro 2016 squad, and he made one substitute appearance as La Furia Roja crashed out in the Last 16 stage.
